OK. There is nothing peaceful or moderate about Islam. When practiced and followed as outlined in the Quaran, all non worshippers are supposed to be converted or destroyed. If your muslim, and you don't want to personally conquer your neighbor on Horace Harding, you keep your mouth shut, lest you be singled out and ridiculed in your Mosque.
Progressive Arab countries, like having Hamas in Palestine. By supporting their cause they "appear" to be lining up with their brothers. Help them rebuild and rearm, but most important, keep them the hell out of our peaceful progressive Arab nation. Let them blow up their homes, launch rockets, booby trap their civilians, tunnel underground and all the rest of it, but DO IT over THERE, not over here.
Muslims do NOT play well with others. And so far, Israel is the only country with the guts to stand up to them. Barely, since they continually cease actions just short of actual goals. That's the moderates in their political structure, pandering to the voters. When they get some strong leadership, maybe then they will ultimately protect their land, and stop giving in.
I say you need to hear the hate in Muslim protests from all around the globe. Walking arm in arm with Aryan supremacist. From every corner of the world. Islam is not built on peace. We should NOT allow ourselves to be fooled.

What could we be thinking?
How possibly can we expect our elected government officials to run a country when we as individuals can't master the art of making a proper intersection turn.
