It's been that long.

It does seem like a while, but there was probably a good reason.

Hope both of you (and whomever is reading over your shoulder) are  healthy.

I don't actually love my "My Pillow",  and it's actually PP's anyway. I get to use it, share it, embrace it or shun it, but not hate it. And the prices are ok too, so there's that.  Mike is a recovering survivor as well, and successful in business. He's a faithful man who seems to be a good spirit. He's donated to RSBN and helped maintain their fairly independent status. That's real support for things you believe in.

So that's all well & good, but today I can't figure out what Lindell thought was so important he just had to visit the white house? As kindly and supportive President Trump has been to Mike, with 3 days till the 20th, I'm going to picture the POTUS being  preoccupied at at least a few levels.

Regarding the 11/3 vote, all that data, in real time was monitored, saved, digitally tracked & analyzed. European servers secured, even Leonardo got involved. But Lindell did some in depth research and found proof  about the how, and where, and I guess why. Proof that the Commander in Chief had to hear. on 1/16? I know it was well intentioned.

That's my Story, and I'm Stickin' to it.

[I apologize for the extreme wordiness of what follows. I promise I wasn't on any drugs. Possibly I had bee to the bar that night]

If I made a list of events, occurrences, decisions, complicity, that have surrounded and defined numerous portions of my entire life to this point, it would include (IMO), a fair number that would be tedious, and uncomfortable for even me to read.
The good news is, that isn't gonna happen. At the time these events took place, I obviously had difficulty determining what the best course of action was. Now I know. Well, now I know the extent to which my original choice demonstrated its failed potential. I'll still call it maturing and growth because, quite frankly, I deserve it.
With any amount of fortune and sobriety, neither of which are in great supply these days, I don't expect to duplicate or recreate the havoc/chaos that came before. They were mistakes I made in haste and poor judgement, driven by clouded opinion of uncertain outcomes. Obviously, for the most part, my life today isn't so much shaped by them.
Because I behaved, or portrayed myself in one manner or another in the past, hasn't prevented me from making the needed observations and adjustments in the present. We're not shackled to what doesn't or hasn't worked.

Who are your Folks?

I Hate when the president refers to me as "Folks"
He's not my friend, he's not my buddy or mentor. He's done nothing I admire and he can barely string two sentences together on his own & when he does it makes you feel more slimy than buying a used car from IDEAL Motors. And THATS the leader of the free world. No wonder the US is the laughing stock of the world, Obama is a Joke. A punchline in the dramatic tragedy that is our Nation.
I have only had two  "Folks" in my life, my  mom and pop, and they are both deceased, dead, living no more, ceased to be breathing,  doing the long dirt nap,  Maybe the president could take a hint.

Generation Boom

That's a picture of the surviving bomber. He's given rock star status. People had their lives and their limbs torn apart due to his actions. The time for circumspect and discovery is BEFORE you set forth on mass murder.
The media really has to s t o p the slick imaging of serial and mass murder. It become a goal to attain for some, when all else is slipping away.
Punk terrorist wanna be should have to wear one of the severed legs tied around his neck until his death sentence  is carried out. Dad once tied his moccasin around our collies neck after it was converted into a chew toy. That shoe chewing crap stopped.
I digress.

For all the swagger

For all the swagger and hollywood and the media pumps out at the viewing public. For all the smart ass hipper than thou men and women the public is instructed to idolize. For all the bad ass mother fuckers that scowl and intimidate. for all the well heeled corporate Goliaths that contribute to the favorite white house lackey. For all the feminist bitches that ever donned a super girl cape, why is it, how could it be, that our government acts and behaves like a 8th grader at their first couples dance. Hundreds of elected officials and damn near everyone of the dolts would walk into a door if it weren't opened for them.
They are too full of their self importance to even realize how foolish and ineffective they've become, let alone be ashamed.

Winners and then Some

Vancouver, Winter Olympics. Big fun in the snow. I really enjoy watching the competition unfold.
For country and team, or is that team and then country? Maybe its about the individual only. In any event, the winners, the Gold Medal finalists. They stand on the top of the box , with flowers and their medal as their country's' national anthem is played. Anthems are fun to listen to. Even @ the MotoGP races, I take interest in each country's musical charisma.I've been hearing a lot of Italy and Australia lately. I digress.
Olympic gold...I saw a Canadian gold medalist, a woman the other night. As the Canadian anthem played....She SANG. More than just mouthing the words, she was singing . The bronze winner heard her and glanced over her shoulder when she did.
It was a great moment. The elimination rounds, up to the finalists, and then the metal competition. A lifetime of commitment and years of training, focus and ability, and luck as well. BUT, paying tribute to your country amidst perhaps your personal greatest moment in sport, in front of the whole world, unashamed and proud. Grateful for the opportunity to pursue excellence and succeed.
Notice for yourself, not many, actually hardly ANY sports figures even attempt to mouth the words, let alone outright sing. Football, baseball, any sport anywhere. Public gatherings and events. Hand over heart at best.

We need more humble champions who own their achievements in a context that pays tribute to the country that supports their goals.

7/13 UPDATE. In Moto GP racing and as a point of fact, the Spanish riders tend to dominate in many classes. Not exclusively but more often than not. So I get to listen to the National Anthem of the winning riders country, as well as the country of origin of the bike manufacturer. (usually Japanese).
So I've really come to enjoy the Italian anthem, even more when Valentino Rossi, #46 is on the top step. But back to the Spaniards and the above thread. I noticed that none of the young, emotional, vital, GP athletes from Spain ever sing or even mouth the words. They do bob their heads in time perhaps. W e l l, I found out that the Spanish anthem has NO words!. Its all melody and orchestration with no lyric. Odd as that seemed at the moment, it answered some questions.

Christmas musings

Had a traditional holiday breakfast @ work, 3 egg cheese omlet, Parks original sausage and a poppy bagel with country crock spread!! YUM
Lunch was Progresso (maybe) italian wedding soup with a boiled german knockwurst accompanied by a left over sesame bagel.

Over lunch our reduced crew, down to 2 for the lunch break, discussed some of our religious background and current standings. How we celebrate and why and so forth. Its an unusual discussion because we tend to keep away from personal deep discussions like that @ work.

It was fine, and actually opened up a different thread of communication between this other employee and myself. We get along pretty well as it is, enough so that I shared my food for breakfast and he shared his for lunch. Seems like a decent yardstick.

Got me to thinking for the rest of the day, never a good sign. I'd just recently made it a point to decipher the anagram RINO, as in Republican in Name only. Cute, to the extent that I understand the reference. My mid day conversation on religious observation still was lingering about and I got to thinking about people who don't practice or observe their religion outside of a few specific holidays. Easter and Christmas ( including ash Wednesday, or Palm Sunday?) Chanukah, Rosh and Yom. And no even embracing to spiritual essence of a God.
Oh but why, really. A god is created in the mind of man to suit his mortal needs. But when theres no answer, or all the obvious answers in our life have run through our hands. Maybe to refer to the unknown or unexplainable. When logic abandons you. As a mere spiritual anchor.
Well I don't think I hold a belief in god, I just can't allow myself to, but I quite recognize and admire other peoples faith in a higher power/entity. Its satisfying to see.
And so it flashed against my inner foreheads billboard sign. JINO. Yes, you guessed it. Jews in name only.
