It's been that long.

It does seem like a while, but there was probably a good reason.

Hope both of you (and whomever is reading over your shoulder) are  healthy.

I don't actually love my "My Pillow",  and it's actually PP's anyway. I get to use it, share it, embrace it or shun it, but not hate it. And the prices are ok too, so there's that.  Mike is a recovering survivor as well, and successful in business. He's a faithful man who seems to be a good spirit. He's donated to RSBN and helped maintain their fairly independent status. That's real support for things you believe in.

So that's all well & good, but today I can't figure out what Lindell thought was so important he just had to visit the white house? As kindly and supportive President Trump has been to Mike, with 3 days till the 20th, I'm going to picture the POTUS being  preoccupied at at least a few levels.

Regarding the 11/3 vote, all that data, in real time was monitored, saved, digitally tracked & analyzed. European servers secured, even Leonardo got involved. But Lindell did some in depth research and found proof  about the how, and where, and I guess why. Proof that the Commander in Chief had to hear. on 1/16? I know it was well intentioned.

That's my Story, and I'm Stickin' to it.

[I apologize for the extreme wordiness of what follows. I promise I wasn't on any drugs. Possibly I had bee to the bar that night]

If I made a list of events, occurrences, decisions, complicity, that have surrounded and defined numerous portions of my entire life to this point, it would include (IMO), a fair number that would be tedious, and uncomfortable for even me to read.
The good news is, that isn't gonna happen. At the time these events took place, I obviously had difficulty determining what the best course of action was. Now I know. Well, now I know the extent to which my original choice demonstrated its failed potential. I'll still call it maturing and growth because, quite frankly, I deserve it.
With any amount of fortune and sobriety, neither of which are in great supply these days, I don't expect to duplicate or recreate the havoc/chaos that came before. They were mistakes I made in haste and poor judgement, driven by clouded opinion of uncertain outcomes. Obviously, for the most part, my life today isn't so much shaped by them.
Because I behaved, or portrayed myself in one manner or another in the past, hasn't prevented me from making the needed observations and adjustments in the present. We're not shackled to what doesn't or hasn't worked.

Who are your Folks?

I Hate when the president refers to me as "Folks"
He's not my friend, he's not my buddy or mentor. He's done nothing I admire and he can barely string two sentences together on his own & when he does it makes you feel more slimy than buying a used car from IDEAL Motors. And THATS the leader of the free world. No wonder the US is the laughing stock of the world, Obama is a Joke. A punchline in the dramatic tragedy that is our Nation.
I have only had two  "Folks" in my life, my  mom and pop, and they are both deceased, dead, living no more, ceased to be breathing,  doing the long dirt nap,  Maybe the president could take a hint.

Generation Boom

That's a picture of the surviving bomber. He's given rock star status. People had their lives and their limbs torn apart due to his actions. The time for circumspect and discovery is BEFORE you set forth on mass murder.
The media really has to s t o p the slick imaging of serial and mass murder. It become a goal to attain for some, when all else is slipping away.
Punk terrorist wanna be should have to wear one of the severed legs tied around his neck until his death sentence  is carried out. Dad once tied his moccasin around our collies neck after it was converted into a chew toy. That shoe chewing crap stopped.
I digress.

For all the swagger

For all the swagger and hollywood and the media pumps out at the viewing public. For all the smart ass hipper than thou men and women the public is instructed to idolize. For all the bad ass mother fuckers that scowl and intimidate. for all the well heeled corporate Goliaths that contribute to the favorite white house lackey. For all the feminist bitches that ever donned a super girl cape, why is it, how could it be, that our government acts and behaves like a 8th grader at their first couples dance. Hundreds of elected officials and damn near everyone of the dolts would walk into a door if it weren't opened for them.
They are too full of their self importance to even realize how foolish and ineffective they've become, let alone be ashamed.

Winners and then Some

Vancouver, Winter Olympics. Big fun in the snow. I really enjoy watching the competition unfold.
For country and team, or is that team and then country? Maybe its about the individual only. In any event, the winners, the Gold Medal finalists. They stand on the top of the box , with flowers and their medal as their country's' national anthem is played. Anthems are fun to listen to. Even @ the MotoGP races, I take interest in each country's musical charisma.I've been hearing a lot of Italy and Australia lately. I digress.
Olympic gold...I saw a Canadian gold medalist, a woman the other night. As the Canadian anthem played....She SANG. More than just mouthing the words, she was singing . The bronze winner heard her and glanced over her shoulder when she did.
It was a great moment. The elimination rounds, up to the finalists, and then the metal competition. A lifetime of commitment and years of training, focus and ability, and luck as well. BUT, paying tribute to your country amidst perhaps your personal greatest moment in sport, in front of the whole world, unashamed and proud. Grateful for the opportunity to pursue excellence and succeed.
Notice for yourself, not many, actually hardly ANY sports figures even attempt to mouth the words, let alone outright sing. Football, baseball, any sport anywhere. Public gatherings and events. Hand over heart at best.

We need more humble champions who own their achievements in a context that pays tribute to the country that supports their goals.

7/13 UPDATE. In Moto GP racing and as a point of fact, the Spanish riders tend to dominate in many classes. Not exclusively but more often than not. So I get to listen to the National Anthem of the winning riders country, as well as the country of origin of the bike manufacturer. (usually Japanese).
So I've really come to enjoy the Italian anthem, even more when Valentino Rossi, #46 is on the top step. But back to the Spaniards and the above thread. I noticed that none of the young, emotional, vital, GP athletes from Spain ever sing or even mouth the words. They do bob their heads in time perhaps. W e l l, I found out that the Spanish anthem has NO words!. Its all melody and orchestration with no lyric. Odd as that seemed at the moment, it answered some questions.

Christmas musings

Had a traditional holiday breakfast @ work, 3 egg cheese omlet, Parks original sausage and a poppy bagel with country crock spread!! YUM
Lunch was Progresso (maybe) italian wedding soup with a boiled german knockwurst accompanied by a left over sesame bagel.

Over lunch our reduced crew, down to 2 for the lunch break, discussed some of our religious background and current standings. How we celebrate and why and so forth. Its an unusual discussion because we tend to keep away from personal deep discussions like that @ work.

It was fine, and actually opened up a different thread of communication between this other employee and myself. We get along pretty well as it is, enough so that I shared my food for breakfast and he shared his for lunch. Seems like a decent yardstick.

Got me to thinking for the rest of the day, never a good sign. I'd just recently made it a point to decipher the anagram RINO, as in Republican in Name only. Cute, to the extent that I understand the reference. My mid day conversation on religious observation still was lingering about and I got to thinking about people who don't practice or observe their religion outside of a few specific holidays. Easter and Christmas ( including ash Wednesday, or Palm Sunday?) Chanukah, Rosh and Yom. And no even embracing to spiritual essence of a God.
Oh but why, really. A god is created in the mind of man to suit his mortal needs. But when theres no answer, or all the obvious answers in our life have run through our hands. Maybe to refer to the unknown or unexplainable. When logic abandons you. As a mere spiritual anchor.
Well I don't think I hold a belief in god, I just can't allow myself to, but I quite recognize and admire other peoples faith in a higher power/entity. Its satisfying to see.
And so it flashed against my inner foreheads billboard sign. JINO. Yes, you guessed it. Jews in name only.

Who's BEST INTEREST?

CAIRO - Dalia Mogahed, the first Muslim woman appointed to a position in President Barack Obama’s administration met with lawmakers Monday and discussed her role on an interfaith advisory board the new administration hopes will broaden dialogue and understanding.

Mogahed was also a member of U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project, which called for engagement with Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood is dedicated, in its own words, to "a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."

How and why its happening

Wilders: What's happened is that the cultural relativists believe that all cultures are equal, that Islam is just another leaf on the tree - and that everybody who says different is a xenophobe or racist. Within Europe, Muslims today have enormous political force. They all vote, and they're represented by mostly leftist parties.

There is no country where Islam is dominant where you have a real democracy, a real separation between church and state. Islam is totally contrary to our values.

Please read it all....

I promise to write something different.

Just plain old tired. So maybe tomorrow. In the mean time Welcome Geert Wilders to the United States. He is here to speak out on well........Free Speech. Agree or disagree with his platform, being able to say whats on his mind is one of the few valuable freedoms we all have left.

edit: We should have Geert on The "Factor" as well.

Enough is TOO MUCH

Multiculturalism. We're "Multicultural". Its ALL good, we don't actually believe in ANYTHING. I'm ok, your OK.
Liberal western cultures are predisposed to multiculturalism because it serves to avoid the guilt we otherwise would feel for standing up for our freedoms. If I am not mistaken, there are only 3 countries with Islamic populations of 20% or more that can still be called multicultural. They are tiny little countries, that didn't even exist when I took Social Studies in high school.
There is no Multicultural in Islamic countries. Either the host government allows the Muslims to establish a parallel Sharia court system to try Islamic crimes, or the goal is to subjugate the country's government and instill a Sharia run regime.
England, France, Holland, Canada, and very soon The USA. With every step we take toward multiculturalism ........ BAH.
Enough will be too much. Is every single issue and conflict we observe just another case of extreme Islamic phobia? Can the observer be wrong ALL the time? How many times do we have to witness the inequalities portrayed by Main Stream Media (MSM) to be able to say once , A HAH!! We were right!?
Is it all coincidence ? Are we wrong all the time? It doesn't see likely. So when we've acquiesced and accommodated our lifestyle to those who will not integrate to our culture, and we FINALLY say "ENOUGH", it will be TOO MUCH. Too late. Regretfully, retro action is even more impossible than pro action.
This country is not made up of cowards, and many will not stand for peaceful assimilation like good SHEEPLE.

The Prez

And how did the 44th President react to the growing public dismay over the mess he was making? He threw his toys out of the pram -- or perhaps that should read, he got into the pram. For he fled the scene of the disaster and sought the company of seven year-olds instead. As the Telegraph reported:

‘We were just tired of being in the White House,’ he told a group of excited seven-year-olds before discussing Batman and reading them a book.

Tired of being President – after two weeks!

Tax cheats, pork-barrel politics, ancillary child abuse, incompetence, chaos, treachery and infantilism. America – what have you done?!

Muslim brothers, God has inflicted the Muslim nation with a people whom God has become angry at [Koran 1:7] and whom he cursed [Koran 5:78] so he made monkeys and pigs [Koran 5:60] out of them. They killed prophets and messengers [Koran 2:61 / 3:112] and sowed corruption on Earth. [Koran 5:33 / 5:64] They are the most evil on Earth. [5:62 /63]

As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them." -- Qur'an 4:34

(Russia) "Chechen leader imposes strict brand of Islam" -- hat tip Jeffrey Imm
"The bullnecked president of Chechnya emerged from afternoon prayers at the mosque and with chilling composure explained why seven young women who had been shot in the head deserved to die"

-- "Ramzan Kadyrov said the women, whose bodies were found dumped by the roadside, had 'loose morals' and were rightfully shot by male relatives in honor killings. 'If a woman runs around and if a man runs around with her, both of them are killed,' Kadyrov told journalists in the capital of this Russian republic."

Ottawa radio host chastized for making "abusive and discriminatory," but true, statements about Islam and Muslims

Thank you R. Spencer/Jihad Watch

Green: He posed a question

Green asked, "Is there something inherent in the Muslim faith that promotes violence and oppression of women?” Hmmm, let's see.

The Qur'an likens a woman to a field (tilth), to be used by a man as he wills: "Your women are a tilth for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilth as ye will" (2:223).

The Qur'an also declares that a woman's testimony is worth half that of a man: "Get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her" (2:282).

It allows men to marry up to four wives, and have sex with slave girls also: "If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice" (4:3).

It rules that a son's inheritance should be twice the size of that of a daughter: "Allah (thus) directs you as regards your children's (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females" (4:11).

Worst of all, the Qur’an tells husbands to beat their disobedient wives: "Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them" (4:34).

It allows for marriage to pre-pubescent girls, stipulating that Islamic divorce procedures “shall apply to those who have not yet menstruated” (65:4).

Nor is that all. There are ahadith in which Muhammad says that hell is filled with many more women than men, there are Islamic legal justifications for child marriage, stoning for adultery, honor killing, and female genital mutilation, and there is abundant evidence that these views of women have created hardened cultural attitudes across the Islamic world that institutionalize misery for women and discrimination against them.

All that is fine, however, with our cultural and political elites -- but woe betide the non-Muslim, like Lowell Green, who dares to make reference to it.

Free Speech Death Watch Update: "Ottawa radio station chastised for comments on Muslims," by Chris Cobb for the Ottawa Citizen, February 6 (thanks to the indomitable and magnificent Kathy Shaidle, who asks, "Dear me: how all this 'words can rape, maim and leave you for dead in a ditch!!' alchemy operates is an awful big mystery to poor stupid rightwinger me... "):

OTTAWA — A veteran open-line radio host in Ottawa contravened Canadian broadcasting standards when he made “abusive and discriminatory” remarks against Muslims, the national broadcast watchdog ruled Friday.

According to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council, Lowell Green launched an “uninformed and unfair” attack when he told his CFRA audience in early December that the majority of Muslims are fanatics, and extremist behaviour is symptomatic of the religion, not just a radical minority.

"Uninformed," yes. Those who notice Islamic jihad and the Islamic justifications made for it by its Muslim perpetrators are always "uninformed." Those who turn a blind eye to it all are the ones who are "informed."

Green had been inspired by the story of British schoolteacher Gillian Gibbons, whose elementary class in the Sudanese capital Khartoum named a teddy bear “Muhammad,” causing a storm of outrage across the Muslim world.

Gibbons was forced to leave the country after being threatened with imprisonment and death.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, apparently.

Green posed the question to listeners: “Is there something inherent in the Muslim faith that promotes violence and oppression of women?”

He posed a question! Horror of horrors!

In response to one Muslim caller who tried to defend Islam, Green responded: “Baloney,” and during another call, told a sympathetic, but apparently non-Muslim, caller that she had “abandoned common sense” and was being “silly.”

Almost every act of terrorism around the world today is carried out in the name of Islam,” responded Green. “Don’t tell me this is the work of a few fanatics.”

A position that can be abundantly supported by mountains of evidence.

The broadcast watchdog, an arm’s-length organization created and funded by private broadcasters to rule on listener and viewer complaints, was especially critical of Green for refusing to listen to pro-Islam callers, especially those who were clearly informed about the religion.

“The host has mounted a sweeping, abusive and unduly discriminatory criticism of Islam,” it said.

Worse, said the CBSC report, was the manner in which the broadcaster dismissed those who disagreed with him.

“Green did not merely disagree with opposing points of view,” it said. “He mocked, ridiculed and insulted their interlocutors.”

Well, then, he must be silenced!

Under CBSC rules, stations violating rules must broadcast the decision, but there is no other punishment.

Yet.

Fencing Pigs

I got this parable via email from my father, and it certainly seems to describe what our government is trying to do to Americans today.

A professor in a large college had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.

They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The multi-generational financial rape that Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and so many members of our Congress are trying to force down our throats--under increasing threats and ever-louder fear-mongering--is a betrayal of the core ideals of our Founding Fathers.

Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Adams, Franklin... they did not want a large and powerful government. They went to war against such a monstrosity, one that had strangled them with punitive taxation and oppressive government. The fought tooth and nail for to establish a free republic where Americans could enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Our socialist President and his Democratic Party acolytes are not breaking any laws in trying to ram this $1 trillion dollar of waste down our throats... and wouldn't hold themselves accountable if they were.

As with many tyrannical governments of the past, they're sincere in their belief that encroaching further into our lives--taking a little more liberty, putting up one more fence post at a time--is for our own good.

But power only makes governments hungry for more power, and a point is eventually reached when that strangling power, that encroaching fence, must be put asunder before to envelops those who love liberty and turns them into slaves.

We face a very simple choice here, in early February of 2009, my fellow Americans.

We stop the fencing today.

We stop our government, Republican and Democrat alike, and declare that they will not have their bloated stimulus, this financial rape of our children's future, that dwarfs the costs of the entire Iraq War and Afghan War combined.

We will shout out NO MORE.

Or in the not too distant future, we will face a far darker decision, that of surrendering what little of our freedom that remains to the all powerful government, or sharpening our tusks, and going to war yet again against tyranny. Hopefully, you will act to day and not allow yourself to be led dumbly into that pen. You will stop it, now, before it can successfully be constructed.

There are pig farmers in the White House and Congress that would see you led in captivity so that they may dine on your fatted flesh.

Will you be led to slaughter.

Or will you be free?
